Communications Advisor 

Department: Administration      Date: 24-Mar-23       Location: Rarotonga

As Communications Advisor, you will provide leadership and management of communications for the Ministry. This position supports both internal and external media and communication needs and provides leadership and direction on the development and delivery of high-quality communications services.

The Communications Advisor also ensures consistent development and implementation of comprehensive communications plans and strategies, and the provision of high-level communications advice and support across the Ministry. 

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in communications, media, journalism, or another relevant field, and relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in leading communication and media projects and utilising multiple communication channels with a good understanding of the Cook Islands and Foreign Affairs context would be advantageous.
